In 2015, "Meander Down Main Street" brought over 4000 people to Main Street for a beautiful fall afternoon; on a cloudy day in 2016 approximately 5800 people enjoyed meeting friends and neighbors, connecting with community groups and local vendors, kids playing games, live music on two stages, a Woodbury Restaurant Samples Station, a beer and wine garden, an incredible variety of food trucks and even a pumpkin derby! Imagine an entire town reading the same book. Imagine that the book inspires a series of kind acts in the community. That was Pay it Forward. From reading Pay it Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde , to painting Ben's Bells, to noting a neighbor's good deeds, the Pay it Forward Project was WOW's first venture into project -based community programming.
